The CHESTER SPECIAL (the official, historical name). My childhood burger, the burger by which, honestly, all others are judged, my hometown burger, and the creation (partially) of Chester Murray. We had the great pleasure to host Chester and his wife Christy at the counter last week and many in attendance were shocked to meet the guy behind this cult-like 52 year-old burger. It's simplicity is both ridiculous and sublime, the true answer to what your burger subconscious is asking for. Listen to your subconscious. It's nothing more than a classic white-bread-and-American grilled cheese but the secret in its execution is the butter, and the build. Chester sampled our Chester at a press event and declared, "that may be one of the best I've ever eaten." 🙏😊
