"A-bonjour mes amis. For the first time in its illustrious history, Burger Club has ventured across the pond to the great stinky beyond of Paris, France. For the inaugural meeting of "Le Burger Club," we chose Blend - a venue heralded across Le Internet as a place to go - a major player in the rapidly burgeoning French Burger scene. So we gathered - half American, half French (including our old compatriot and WebMaster Quentin), to taste the fruits of the revolution and pass the swift judgement of our meaty guillotines. While I have tremendous respect for French cuisine, I was disappointed. While there were certainly some lovely ingredients included in their various speciality burgers (Camembert was a nice bit of culinary localism), the end product was unbalanced and overcooked. The heart is in the right place, but this is still a burger - and perhaps an entire nation fo burgers - still in search of itself. That said, i hope that the search will continue - and you can be sure that Burger Club will be on hand to map the journey. While America may definitely be losing in some areas at the moment, we still hold the crown when it comes to sweet, beefy glory. *insert USA chant here*"

It is quite emotional to be part of the first burger club event in Paris. Like the olympics in 33, history will remember it.

The burger was of good quality. Though it lacked personality and an passion.

A good bang for the buck. I'd come back here for comfort, not to get in touch with god.

America may not be winning in some areas, but we still are numèro un in the burger department. This one, although ambitious in toppings, lacked focus in flavor balance, the very ethos behind their origin story. The meat was over cooked and over shadowed by Camembert. It was not...veeernice

Signature Burger

Unimpressive. Cooked to a crisp and just not enough going on to make it work. Value wasn't there. Appreciated having a Rogue beer on the menu but not for $9 after conversion.

America is having a lot of problems at the moment, but we still reign triumphant in the burger department.

A burger still in search of itself. This has many nice ingredients but the overall harmonious is lacking. There is a certain insecurity that pervades the totality of it. Perhaps it's the nature of being a French burger in an American burger's world...being overlooked doesn't help. Sides are perfonctory at best.
