Raoul's Bar Burger - The Return

The Meaty Details
On April 7 at noon, we return to Raoul's for a midday massacre of their elusive Bar Burger. For those who missed our first outing, this gorgeously Gallic slab of ground beef comes seared in butter and topped with triple cream Saint-André cheese, cornichons, red onions, and a tangle of watercress. And then you DIP THE WHOLE F-ING THING IN CREAMY AU POIVRE SAUCE. The French may be a refined people, but this is downright savage and I am 100% ok with it.
Normally you can only get this at the bar, and can only get 12 in a night. But we, being the cultured, connected chaps and chappettes that we are, will have a table for 8, with our burgers delivered to us by an esteemed garçon. We'll also have an extra 4 slots for those who want to do it at the bar, like god intended.
So come taste what Esquire called "The best burger in America," you'll be glad you did.

Apparently my ass is more expensive when it’s sits in a booth. But it is soho #realestate
Burger was fantastic, but a few critiques. Pepper was a little overwhelming on the burger so I had trouble getting the true flavor of the beef. I also felt like I was done with the flavors by the last quarter of the burger. And, the fact that the price of the burger was $8 less at the bar vs the sam
This is a delightful burger...a taste explosion that changes with each bite. A complex melding of flavors from creamy to peppery to salty to crunchy to smooth, and everything in between. Only complaints - the meat is masked by the many other players on the field, and the $8 surcharge for seated serv
A harmonious meaty delight that made me poor
Despite my sweaty ass, this was a expensive, quality brgr.
Andrew, once again, was watchless and late. 3/10.
The burger was delicious but the beef was overwhelmed by the pepper crust and toppings. Great texture, great flavor overall but not on par with some of its similar-priced brethren.
