To be fair, I did eat this burger a little cold. It was delicious and was a lovely classic burger. Shake shack with better ambiance. I have been surrounded with weekly mediocre burgers (I have kids so eat a lot of burgers) and it is nice to have one that feels overall satisfying but not mediocre. It’s diner feel made me want to add grilled onions and maybe another pickle. Simple burger I would eat on rotation.

The raclette cheese added a touch of sweetness that balanced the crunch of the meat. The throwback music reminded me of early 2000s Williamsburg when the only burger in town was from Diner. The bacon jam added the perfect pungent punch that was much more delightful than adding a greasy slab of bacon to the burger. The crunch added a bit of a meat cracker feel but it was worth it to experience the full embodiment of the burger as a whole.
